It features a buffered bypass specification similar to the original unit. Original gain around 3 o'clock on the GAIN knob, and distortion increases more than the original (gold) unit after that. (Oscillation may occur in extreme settings) However, it is not a high-gain pedal, and the vintage sound characteristic of the Klon remains.
