A creamer and sugar pot set from Rosenthal's Century series, released in 1979 to commemorate the company's 100th anniversary and produced until 1995 (produced from '79-'80). From the studio line, which collaborated with up-and-coming designers, the Century series features designs by the Finnish master "Tapio Wirkkala." Inspired by the bones of sea urchins, the series is popular for its delicate dotted pattern and adorable three-legged design. This item appears to be in mint condition, unused, but there is a stain-like mark on the underside of the sugar pot lid that cannot be removed (see photo 11).
