It offers a unique texture that cotton cannot replicate. Washi, like linen, provides a refreshing feel, but it is much lighter and has excellent moisture absorption and release properties compared to cotton or linen. In ancient Japan, it was considered a high-quality material alongside silk. Because the yarn is much more expensive than linen, it is rare to find this material in the market as fabric or finished products. Washing is the same as regular cotton. The knit fabric is stretchy and wrinkle-resistant, with a moderate thickness, making it easy to use in any season.
