This is a fun picture book with lots of interactive elements that use your hands and fingers. Easy-to-understand explanations allow you to casually interact with sea creatures. The interactive elements are fun, and because it was flipped through and touched many times, there is overall wear and tear. All of the window-opening mechanisms have creases. The octopus window mechanism is torn and has been repaired with mending tape (a clear tape that is also gentle on books) (Image 12). The octopus suckers originally stuck, but they no longer do (Image 13). There are creases on the shark page. Also, because the skin of the bull shark is rough, the color on the opposite page has peeled off or is damaged (Images 14-15). The last page also has creases (Image 18). There are many scratches and stains, but I think it can still be read aloud. I would like to pass it on to someone who needs it.
