I acquired this item used and have used it several times, mainly for practice and live performances. During use, I replaced the bearings in the posts and hinges (a total of four locations) with high-precision, domestically-made bearings. The chain has also been replaced with a new one. As a result, there is no power loss and it moves smoothly. This is an easy-to-handle model that balances lightness and volume, and I think it's easy to use regardless of genre. The beaters are the original ones.
