While in school, he worked under Narciso Rodriguez as a design assistant directly under Narciso. Later, he worked as a women's wear designer for Ralph Lauren's top-of-the-line Purple Label, mainly in charge of tailored items. In 2006, he came to Japan and was fascinated by Japanese traditional culture and street culture, and began to work in Tokyo. In 2007, he launched his own brand, starting collections in Paris while focusing on Japanese manufacturing.
