1930s Navajo Coin Silver Thunderbird Coin silver is silver made by melting down old coins. The color is clearly different from currently made silver! It's a cloudy white silver, you know it if you know it! I think it's irresistible! There are products sold as Navajo, but they are not fake, but there are almost no original items from that time, and descendants have inherited and are still making them today. This is from the 1930s. I bought this from an old man who had a large collection of only Navajo items at a swap meet in America about 10 years ago. Everything he had was a wonderful one-of-a-kind item. This one wasn't on display in his shop, but he brought it out from the back of his car, saying it was special, and he didn't seem to want to sell it very much.
