This is a display item from a shop owned by an acquaintance. I received it from them. It was a display item, but there are no noticeable scratches. It's a wooden glass case in a karin (Chinese quince) color. It opens from the front. The front door is beveled glass. The kimono on the hagoita (decorative paddle) has a gorgeous plum blossom pattern. The board is painted and thick. Velcro is attached to the bottom and back of the hagoita, allowing it to be removed. The kanzashi (hair ornament) is made of genuine boxwood, and the umbrella it holds has an embroidered wisteria flower. I think it's a nice decoration, not too big and not too small.
