The features of the construction are the bamboo binding around the edge of the tray, the surface is finished with red lacquer, and the back is painted with black lacquer in a stone-like pattern, making it non-slip. Therefore, you can enjoy tea not only in a tatami room with yourself or close friends, but also on a living room table. This is a carefully crafted Warabon, but it has been used, so as you can see in the photos, there are some scratches on the surface and back, but it can be used without any problems. It is a tea tray for enjoying tea, used in the basic procedure that is first learned as Bonryaku-demae in the Urasenke school, and for Ryakubon-demae in the Omotesenke school.
