Red Wing 8166, manufactured in May 2008 at the P8 factory. I've always admired Red Wing boots and researched them online and in books. I found that many used Red Wings have worn-down heels, and the cost to resole them is at least 18,000 yen. So, I spent time searching for a pair in good condition on a flea market site. I finally found a pair I was happy with and purchased them, but despite the reputation that Red Wings run a bit large, the size feels slightly small, so I'm unfortunately selling them. (I wear a 9 1/2D in Danner for a perfect fit, and a 10D for a more relaxed fit.)
