A rare tea caddy for Hina dolls. It's a black lacquered item with gold maki-e. If I untie the string, the roof comes off and you can see inside directly, but I'm afraid I won't be able to put it back together, so I haven't untied it (^_^;) When I peek through the window, there's a jar or a bag inside. It has a matching box, but there's no writing on it, and the title slip has peeled off and is missing, so the details are unknown. Judging from the discoloration of the matching box and the red stand inside the box, it seems to be a very old item.
