Isidai (Striped Beakfish) Hooks with Leader These are Isidai rigs equipped with a supple and strong new material leader. The leader uses Kevlar or Polylat (Polylat will be used sequentially as Kevlar is discontinued). The base of the hook and the loop are specially coated for strength and smooth leader passage, reducing damage to bait when passing sea urchins or hermit crabs, resulting in better hook hold.
