This is a Seto Katakuchi tea caddy made by the 13th generation Kozaemon Yamaguchi, a Seto-yaki potter, with a matching box. There are no noticeable scratches or stains. The box and oil paper are not in perfect condition due to the passage of time. As shown in the photos, the tea caddy also comes with a navy blue silk bag with a plum blossom pattern, which I believe is a kind of striped fabric. There are two of these bags. A purple crepe-like fabric rest bag, called a yasume-bukuro, is also included, specifically for storing the tea caddy. Dimensions: 6cm x 7.5cm (height).
