Rattan furniture is well-ventilated, making it ideal for storing food supplies and clothing. In my home, I used it in a 3-tier box in the living room to store DVD discs and books. Overall, I don't notice any significant damage such as sun fading, discoloration, stains, or spots. However, as it is a natural product, there may be some age-related discoloration, uneven coloring from the beginning, and very small scratches. Please understand this as part of its character. The frame is very sturdy and well-built, making it durable. One of the two boxes has a crack in the vertical axis on the right side of the hand opening on the front. Touching it doesn't cause it to crumble, and it doesn't affect use, but please be aware of this (see the blue circle in the last image). It's sized to fit perfectly side-by-side in a standard 3-tier box.
