This is a Hida Shunkei lacquerware lunch box. It has aged over time, but has only been used about twice. It would be great for New Year's osechi dishes, as well as for a lunch box. A similar item is sold at Takashimaya for 22,000 yen. I also purchased this one for about 20,000 yen. The box is not in perfect condition. Thank you for looking.
