This is a chai cup I purchased when I visited Masajima-san's studio. It has been displayed without being used. It is larger than a standard teacup, and its shape is designed to feel comfortable in the hand and have a pleasant mouthfeel when drinking. Warm, slightly matte, natural white, kohiki glaze. Diameter 9.5 cm, height approx. 7.5 cm. Holds about 210ml when filled to the brim. For normal use, it holds about 180-190ml. The rim of the cup has a slightly chipped appearance. Please refrain from purchasing if this is a concern.
