This is a set of four lidded nimono-wan (or zoni-wan, shirumono-wan) from the early to mid-Showa era. They feature hand-painted maki-e, with designs on the top and underside of the lids. I inherited them from my grandmother and have been storing them, but I have no use for them, so I am offering them for sale. I would like to sell them to someone who understands that they are old items. Quantity: 4 Color: Vermilion Design: Gold pine and crane decorations on the lids (There are also decorations on the underside of the lids) Shape: Slightly warped Size: Diameter approx. 12.7cm Height with lid closed approx. 9.5cm Condition: * Due to hand painting, there are slight individual differences in the patterns. * There is little sign of use, and there are no cracks or chips. * Due to the age of the items, there are warps and minor scratches due to aging. * We do not sell them individually. Thank you for looking. Lacquerware / Nimono-wan / Shiruwan / Zoni-wan / Lidded bowl / Vermilion lacquer / Maki-e / Japanese tableware / Retro / Vintage
