Thank you for viewing. This is a formal celebratory garment to be worn at a family wedding. The pattern on the hem is a continuous design, a complete, screen-like lacquer work. There is no embroidery, so it is easy to remake. The family crest is a circle with a Japanese knotweed (maru ni tsurukashiwa). I received this, but it doesn't fit, so I am selling it. It is a bit small, so it can be worn by someone petite, but I think it would be lovely remade into a black dress. A black formal kimono costs hundreds of thousands of yen to tailor. As it is silk, it does not generate static electricity and has a comfortable, supple feel that fits the body well. Please understand that this is a used item. Stains, tears, odors, etc. ... none.
