This is an arithmetic card game planned and supervised by Mr. Hiroshi Tanaka of the University of Tsukuba Elementary School. It is compatible with the new curriculum guidelines and helps children develop their understanding of fractions and percentages while having fun. It can also be used by second graders. There are two ways to play: Fraction Matching ① for grades 4-6 and Fraction Matching ② for grades 5-6. Please see the photos for instructions on how to play. Through the game, children can learn about finding common denominators and simplifying fractions, and become familiar with fractions that are rarely seen in daily life. The cards also include diagrams of percentages, angles, and time, in addition to fraction illustrations, which helps to develop the ability to grasp these concepts visually. There are a total of 64 cards, including jokers.
