Thank you for viewing. This is a Paul Krebs solid silver piccolo. I understand that Paul Krebs was a master craftsman who became independent from Uebel in the former East Germany. This instrument was made in the 1970s. As shown in image 8, there is a 900 silver hallmark. The crocodile-skin-style case is also rare to find in such a beautiful condition. The Adler on the lip plate seems to have been added later, and I find it much easier to play when switching from a flute. The thumb key pads have all been replaced with cork, improving the sound's clarity. It has been stored in a dark place for a while, and it may need adjustments, such as balance, for playing.
