【Tea Ceremony Utensils】This is a matcha bowl. Comes with a matching box. There appears to be a signature and red seal resembling "Moemon" on the underside of the lid, and a pottery mark on the back of the bowl, so it is likely made by Shiemon Nakazato. Also, the yellow cloth that came with it was printed with "Pottery Moemon Kiln." This item is from around 2003 when my mother was learning the tea ceremony (Urasenke). The tea bowl is very clean and seems to have been hardly used. I do not practice the tea ceremony, so I do not know the details. It was carefully stored at my parents' house, but I am selling it to declutter. I hope someone will find it useful. 【Size】 Height: Approximately 7.5 cm Diameter: Approximately 14 cm *Please allow for some error due to amateur measurement. There are no noticeable flaws to the untrained eye, and I believe there are no problems with use. It is a beautiful item, but it is a used item from a private individual, so the matching box has natural age-related deterioration such as minor scratches and discoloration. The drawbacks are that a part of the matching box is slightly detached and the lid has warped, creating a small gap [Image 17].
