There is no lining, so you can layer a petticoat or leggings in the colder months to expand your styling options. This skirt itself is not see-through. Sewing is done with a sewing machine and by hand. Although it's new clothing, it uses old kimono fabric, so there may be unexpected wear and tear or imperfections.
