Made from 100% New Zealand merino wool, the use of fine 18.9 micron yarn creates a supple and gentle feel against the skin. Merino wool's natural fibers are non-itchy, quickly absorb and release sweat, and also have anti-odor effects, making it an ideal material. It uses a heavier weight yarn than the normal Rapha merino base layer. The roll neck can be lowered when riding at tempo, and can be pulled up to the face like a Winter Collar when it's cold on descents or at the start of a ride.
