Here are three green lights I made last autumn. The fiber is 1.5mm, about 16cm long. The distance between the lights is 5.5cm, maximizing the use of the top, creating a short, crisp light like a chip. The total length is about 27cm. The weight on the body isn't too heavy, but with about 3cm of 2.5mm sheet lead (when using a 435 battery), it has a moderate weight, perfect for gently dropping soft bait. The time for the first bites is just around the vernal equinox, but night fishing floats are essential for the early season patience game.
