I tested all the functions before listing! I couldn't check the sound because I don't have any records, but it powered on, the turntable rotated, and the needle moved without any problems! I could clearly hear the connection sound when unplugging the power cord, so I think it should be fine! Please understand that this is a used item. I will also include a record needle in the set.
