The combination of mahogany's warmth and the slightly powerful single-coil pickups characteristic of Guild guitars from this era produces a guitar with clear, yet acoustic sound. This is a one-of-a-kind guitar. The short scale neck allows for complex tension chords like those used in jazz, and unique fingerings, giving it a level of expressiveness unlike other guitars. There are weather cracks in the lacquer finish due to aging, but there is no damage to the body. The neck is in very good condition. The acoustic sound is also wonderful, and it's easy to pick up, making it a great guitar for playing at home without an amp. The guitar case in the photos is for photography purposes and is not included. It will be shipped in a vintage hard case.
