You can use it immediately upon arrival. ※The Hi8 tape insertion slot is slightly slanted, so the tape may be difficult to insert and may come back out. In that case, try a few times. Also, if the tape is not inserted correctly, the tape may not come out completely, so in that case, open the cover and manually push the tape out. ※Please be aware that tapes with dirt or scratches may not play correctly and may cause malfunctions. ※After turning on the power, there will be a whirring sound from the VHS side, but you can play Hi8 tapes as usual. ※Please note that in the case of recorded tapes, the video may be distorted depending on the manufacturer of the video deck used for recording and the recording mode (standard or 3x). ※In the past, there have been cases where operational problems have occurred upon arrival due to damage from impact during shipping.
