This is a wooden "ofuda" (Shinto amulet) stand. It's from eau, a woodworking brand from Aizu-Wakamatsu. The retail price is 11,000 yen. I purchased it on Rakuten Ichiba (Japanese online shopping site). The modern design should match the interior of a contemporary home. I used it to display three "ofuda" stacked together.
