This is a grip mounting plate for an old type of Linhof camera (with a triangular grip-side mounting plate). The mounting pitch on the camera side is unusual and long. I bought it thinking it was for a 5x7 Technika, but the mounting pitch is longer than that, approximately 135mm. There is a lot of rust on the back side, etc.
