I used this during my hospital stay for childbirth. There are no scratches or stains. It has been used a bit. The elastic in the waist is loose. It was loose from the beginning, perhaps because it's maternity pajamas. There are no nursing pockets on the sides. There is a pocket on the front of the top. There are no pockets on the pants.
