Both the outside and inside are vermilion, so I think it's for boys, but my family received this tableware set for both boys and girls. (I think the shrine didn't particularly separate them by gender) Since my first child was a boy, I opened and checked it thinking it might be for a girl for the second child, so it's empty but unused and new. ☆ There is also one completely unopened set of the same tableware.
