I bought this for my 2-year-old child to practice using scissors. I don't know about the sharpness. These are right-handed scissors. Please purchase if you understand that this is a used item. One of the scissors has a broken auxiliary part. The items will be placed directly into a waterproof bag and shipped via Yu-Packet Post Mini. No cushioning material will be used. Please be aware of this beforehand.
