The yellow-brown areas have a textured feel. These plates are a good size and have a plump thickness, making them suitable for use as individual plates or for serving Japanese sweets or cakes. Although unused, they have been stored without a box, so there are some scratches on the top from being stacked. There are no other noticeable scratches or chips.
