This is a reproduction and reissue of a British military helmet bag. It shows some signs of use but is still in good condition. The shoulder strap is not included. The Beagle Crew Helmet Bag is a carrying bag for the M83CVC helmet, adopted in the early 1980s. Modern tank crew helmets, including those from other countries, do not place as much emphasis on ballistic protection. They are structured more like headgear than helmets, designed to protect the head in confined spaces, making them very lightweight and reducing the burden on tank crews. Similar to aircraft helmets, a dedicated bag was issued to protect the communication equipment. This product is a reproduction and reissue of that helmet bag.
