These are replacement sleeves made from Okaju's Sil-look Duet nagajuban fabric. The Sil-look Duet nagajuban fabric has a moist, powdery touch and a feel similar to silk. The pattern features peonies and karajishi (Chinese guardian lions) on a pale yellow background. Peonies and karajishi have a meaning of warding off evil. Single-layered construction, hand-sewn. Zipper tape (Velcro) is attached at 2.5cm and 14.5cm from the shoulder side. These are the matching locations for Kiraku. Made of polyester, so it is washable, but hand washing is recommended since it is hand-sewn. I washed it by hand with a detergent for fashionable clothes, applied fabric softener, spun it for 1 minute, and hung it on a pole. I measured it without ironing, and there was no shrinkage.
