I welcomed my daughter (miniature dachshund) in January 2026 and purchased this just in case it might be needed later. It can be used from 6 months of age. My daughter is currently 5 months old, so she cannot use it yet. Also, my daughter is a dog that doesn't bark unnecessarily, so this product became unnecessary for us. This is a product that uses ultrasound only dogs can hear to get their attention and stop them from barking. Several of my friends have one, and it seems to work for some dogs but not others. Some people use it for their own dogs, and others use it when they don't want their dogs to approach other dogs during walks. Also, someone used it because their neighbor's dog was noisy, and it stopped barking. (The house right next door) She said, "I hope they don't realize it's me..." (jokingly) The color is orange (brown?). Please only purchase if you understand that it may or may not be effective.
