Operating period: From around 1884 to 1891. Founded by David Challinor and David Taylor. In 1891, it was absorbed into the United States Glass Company (U.S. Glass) along with several other glass manufacturers. Only 7 years. Known as a representative manufacturer of early American pressed glass (EAPG), milk glass: Opaque white glass products, especially plates and bowls with "Lattice Edge" or "Open Work" edges, are famous. The color and luster of the milk glass are still intact and beautiful. As shown in images 12 and 13, there is blackening in the hairline cracks. There are also small black spots in places.
