This historical model was featured in the 1933 Baccarat official catalog "Central Vessière," but the number of existing pieces is extremely small, and obtaining a set of six is even rarer. The horizontal ribs that encircle the bowl create shadows with every ray of light, accentuating the architectural beauty of the Art Deco style. The actual item is far more three-dimensional than the catalog illustration, and its presence quietly emerges the moment it is placed on a table. The stem has Chevalier's signature elegant proportions, and when held, it is surprisingly well-balanced. Baccarat's unique high transparency further enhances the design inherent in the simple form.
