As there is no original box or documentation, the details such as the artist and origin are unknown, but I believe it is a very old item. There are scratches and wear on the maki-e (sprinkled picture) part, as well as noticeable repairs as shown by the white circle arrows in the last photo. A box inscription from "Gotoku-an" is written on the inside of the lid. If anyone knows more, please feel free to use this information.
