I believe it's been less than 10 years since I bought it, but it was a while ago, as it was before they had authentication cards. It has a nice patina. Some people prefer shiny pieces, while others prefer the OLD look. This item has that OLD feel, which I think is very Goros-like and cool. Eliminating Fakes I've been looking at Goros for 35 years, and I feel that there are more counterfeit products than authentic ones. Also, the number of people who openly claim to have purchased fakes hasn't decreased much. Recent fakes may have reached a super-copy level with 3D printers and 3D scanners, but when it comes to Goros, I still want to stick to the real thing.
