They feature a custom cable by the well-known Moon Audio. Moon Audio High Quality "Silver Dragon" cable. While retaining the Edition 9's characteristic bass, the sound resolution and clarity have been improved. Furthermore, it produces a lustrous sound for both wind and string instruments. The original ear pads have been replaced with compatible YAXY ear pads (soft, with high wearing comfort and sound isolation). About 3 years ago, due to a left/right driver balance issue, they were restored by the official Timelord, with both drivers replaced with new ones. (I've used them for about 100 hours after the replacement. The sound quality is the same as before the replacement, after the burn-in period.)
