Pattern/Design...Print (logo, etc.) Color...Gray Color...Blue Neck...Crew neck EOD Underwater Disposal Team T-shirt Explosive Ordnance Disposal diver, EOD is one of the JMSDF special skills (engineers), and selected officers and petty officers/seamen are awarded a special skill mark upon completion of their training courses. For petty officers and seamen, they first undergo training at the "Open Circuit Scuba Course" (approx. 7 weeks) at the First Technical School. Next, they undergo training at the "Petty Officer/Seaman Advanced Training Course - Diving" (approx. 14 weeks). After that, they become underwater disposal personnel by completing the advanced course, "Advanced Training Course - Underwater Disposal" (approx. 12 weeks). For officers, there is no "Open Circuit Scuba Course," and they start with the "Officer Advanced Training Course - Diving" (approx. 14 weeks). After that, they become underwater disposal personnel by completing the "Advanced Training Course - Underwater Disposal" (approx. 12 weeks).
