MARTIN D-28 D-18 Pickguard Black This pickguard is traced from a D-28. It will likely be oversized. As a general size guide, I've included a size image from tor-tis, so please use it as a reference. It's probably about one size smaller than tor-tis. This is cut out only, so please finish it yourself. There is no double-sided tape on the back. It's probably PVC. The thickness is 0.7mm. This is the material commonly used in repairs. Most pickguards sold online that are less than 100mm wide, excluding genuine ones, are made in China using the same mold, so even if they cost around 3000 yen, you should assume they won't fit a Martin. Buying cheap ones that you can't use repeatedly will waste several thousand yen. Cutting it out yourself involves the effort of tracing, and the area around the soundhole is prone to failure, so buying an oversized one and making your own fine adjustments is the most cost-effective approach. Please note that there may be individual differences depending on the year, etc., so please do not make any claims regarding size discrepancies. I have included approximate sizes in the image, so please purchase only if you can make a judgment based on that. I've tried it on a guitar with a rosette that is roughly the same as a D-28, so please use it as a reference. The guitar is not included. Small scratches occurred during the cutting process, so please do not purchase if you are concerned. The cut edges are not clean, so please purchase files (stick-type or nail files are easy to use) from a 100-yen shop and finish them yourself. It will be shipped in simple packaging.
