His common names were Shirojiro, Genshiro, Ukyoshinn, and his art names were Eishin and Bokushinsai[1]. He was the third son of Kano Takanobu and the younger brother of Tanyu and Naonobu. His wife was the daughter of Kano Naganobu, and his children included the wife of Kano Masunobu, the wife of Kano Tsunenobu, Tokinobu, and Chikanobu.
