【Traditional Japanese Craft】This is a tokkuri (sake bottle) made by Takaaki Kimura, a member of the Japan Kogei Association, who carries on the tradition of Bizen-yaki, a famous Japanese kiln. This tokkuri is made with Takaaki Kimura's unique yakishime (unglazed stoneware) technique. Tokkuri are placed horizontally in the kiln during firing. This is intentionally done to create this pattern and is not a defect. Each piece is handmade.
