We do not fire in electric, gas, or kerosene kilns. Instead, we fire in a kiln for about two weeks once a year, without extinguishing the fire. The pieces are carefully fired at the kiln. After 10 days, we take them out of the kiln, lightly polish them, wash them by hand, and inspect them for water leaks before shipping.
