Thank you for viewing! This is a repurposed, reversible, double-sided, Kichiya obi half-width obi made from genuine silk, authentic Hakata-ori. This half-width obi was remade from a Hakata-ori single-layer obi with some signs of use (image No. 8). One side features a red base with a white Kenjo pattern woven in, and the loop edge has white stripes. The other side has a white base with a white Kenjo pattern woven in, making it reversible and usable on both sides, effectively two half-width obis in one. One side of the obi is looped, and the other side has fine zigzag stitching with nylon thread. It has the characteristic firmness and crisp texture of Hon-chiku Hakata obi, but because it is made of genuine silk, it is gentle on the hands and easy to handle. The size is approximately: width: 15cm, length: 377cm (long). It appears to be a used obi, with some discoloration on one side (the white side) and some minor soiling that is not very noticeable when worn, but overall, I think it is in good condition. Why not try wearing a kimono casually with a half-width obi? Thank you very much. ☘️
