I imagine it's not something you often have the chance to hold (o^^o) After catching the marlin and bringing it home, I cut off the horn. I soaked it in seawater for about a month, removed the flesh and skin, dried it, and carefully polished it! I made this as a spike during the time when the weather was bad and we couldn't go fishing! I've removed the nerves and inserted an iron core to prevent breakage! ※What is a spike? Simply put, it's a pointed, hard stick used for rope work, which most sailors know about. Originally, spikes were often made of iron, and sailors, in particular, would carry their own personal spike from their waist while working. A 30cm iron spike always at your waist... frankly, it's really heavy! That's the spike that sailors dreamed of... That's the spike made from a marlin's rostrum! I made it as a spike, but those who like marine goods can use it for interior decoration, as a DIY material, or process it into accessories – it's cute!
