Shipping via Yamato Transport Used Scarpa winter mountaineering boots The fit from the heel to the ankle is superb. The soles are quite stiff, making them suitable for crampon climbing. Gore-Tex used. (Tag is sewn on) Purchased used on Mercari, and I have used them about a dozen times for snow-covered mountain climbing. Since it was mainly snow, the soles are not very worn. I think it has been 7+ years since they were manufactured. I walked around the neighborhood the day before listing them, and I didn't see any sole separation. However, since time has passed since manufacture, please consider sole replacement if using them for mountain climbing in a remote area. The uppers and welts are in good condition with minimal damage. No tears were found on the inside. Weight: See photos, including both insoles. My feet are wide, with a tendency towards bunions, and I usually wear sneakers size 27-27.5, and they fit perfectly with thin + thick socks. So, unless you have extremely wide feet, they shouldn't feel narrow. The black area on the Achilles tendon has been covered to hide the previous user's name. The name written above the SCARPA logo on the outside of the right foot has been covered. The initials S, T written by the previous user are on the toe area. The synthetic tape shoelace loops on the ankle area are frayed. There are some cracks in the rubber band.
