VIRUS: Virus Buster Serge 1997 Virus VHS Anime Video This is an animated adaptation of the Sega Saturn adventure game "VIRUS," produced by a collaboration between Sega, Hudson, and Avex. Set in Neo Hong Kong in 2097, where a virus that turns humans into monsters is rampant, the story follows the protagonist Serge and his battles with the STAND organization, which aims to eradicate the virus. The director and character designer is Masami Obari, who also handled the script, storyboards, direction, and animation direction for some episodes. The work strongly reflects his unique style.
